Dear Team Member,
The information on the pages listed below is to help you get ready to come serve with us this summer. I have tried to give some practical information that will make things easier for you as you decide what to bring, what not to bring, and how to prepare. It answers most of the "Questions to ask your supervisor" listed on the IMB student website.
More resources to help you prepare can be found on the IMB website. They give a lot of practical information about preparing physically and spiritually to come, raising support, etc. Please search through this information. It can be found at http://thetask.org/students/approved/default.htm.
Another resource that you should make time to read is the volunteer preparation guide at the IMB website - http://going.imb.org/vim/Step_2/prep_guide.asp. (I see that this is currently being revised, but hopefully it will be available soon. In the meantime, last year's is here. Just be aware that contact info, phone numbers, and text about the old VIM department may not be correct.)
This is going to be a great summer. God is already at work redeeming this people back to Himself, and He is going to do great things through you.
