Puspokladany Project

In June of 2006, Macedonian Mission Ministries once again brought a volunteer team to work with us in an outreach project in Puspokladany. They partnered with our summer workers in a multi-faceted program reaching out to all ages. Under a pavilion on the main square we provided free blood pressure screening. This booth also served as a place where local residents could sit and talk with us, which provided the opportunity for several good, in-depth discussions and Gospel presentations. Those who were interested could fill out a card requesting a free modern-day Hungarian translation of the New Testament.

Led by two coaches on the volunteer team, a baseball camp was held in a local school yard. The children enjoyed learning about baseball and interacting with the team; each day a team member gave their personal testimony. There was also a children's program with stories, crafts, games, face/hand painting, and songs. Townspeople and workers at the school were very impressed with what went on, and we were invited to do a program for the all children on the last day of classes. Salvation Bracelets were used to present the Gospel, and many heard the Good News for the first time. Please pray that the Lord will use the impact of what happened in Puspokladany to draw people to Himself.
