Day 17 A National Christian Heritage
Christianity came to this area during the time of the Roman Empire. The Hungarians adopted Christianity in the year 1000 and consider themselves to be a Christian nation. However, for the vast majority, their faith has been reduced to a set of rituals that have lost all real meaning.
For I delight in loyalty rather than sacrifice, and in the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings. Hosea 6:6
Pray that Hungarians will come to know the personal salvation that is in Jesus Christ.
