Hungarians maintain a strong sense of family. Government work programs during past administrations forced many to relocate and caused the close ties of extended family and friends to be weakened. However, Hungarians strove to keep close to immediate family. Many families still care for elderly parents or grandparents at home. Families get together for birthdays, Christmas, and other holidays. They actively work at keeping family relationships strong, and the extended family ties are strengthening.
He [Andrew] found first his own brother Simon, and said to him, "We have found the Messiah" (which translated means Christ). John 1:41
Pray that the Hungarians' desire for strong families will lead to finding a strong relationship with Jesus Christ.
