Day 21 Desire for Closeness
Even though the Hungarians are relationship oriented, forced relocation programs by past administrations severed many emotional ties and created an environment of mistrust. A recent Gallup poll showed that more than seventy percent of Hungarians say they do not have a best friend. In their small circle of friends they continue to search for at least one person they can open up their heart to.
No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends... John 15:15a
Pray that the Hungarians will come to know Him who is the best friend of all, and that the need for human friendship will be satisfied through His church.
