Every school from preschool through university has an "igazgato," or principal (director). They have the final say about what happens in the school. Groups hoping to work with students, provide after-school activities, English clubs or even anti-drug programs must work directly with the principal. Teachers may request a group or program, but the igazgato must approve it.
