Introducing the 2005 Summer Team
The 2005 summer interns spent June 4 to July 26 bicycling across eastern Hungary getting to know the people and culture. In strategic cities they prayer-walked, conducted ethnographic surveys, and did evangelism projects. Get a closer look at what they did in our photo albums.
Note: Intern information is as given in spring 2005.
Anna Karlson I am a senior at North Georgia College & State

Physical Education/Teacher Certification. I hope to one day teach
elementary school physical education. I love playing sports, backpacking,

Dan King I was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1985. I lived in Dekalb County, Georgia for ten years, then moved to Cumming Georgia where I lived up until I graduated from high school. I have three older brothers Ben, Matt, and Stephen, and four younger sisters, Julianne, Sarah, Christen, and Carly. My parents are Gordon and Nancy King. I attend a military college called North Georgia College and State University in Dahlonega, Georgia. I am in the Corps of Cadets, which is a small military organization that trains men and women to be officers in the United States Army. I am an English major with a minor in Music, and plan on commissioning into the Army as either, an Infantry Officer, Chaplain Guard, or possibly a Chaplain. Presently, I am an assistant Chaplain in my company. I am also involved in the Baptist Student Union as well as Campus Outreach. My hobbies include Biking, swimming, running, playing soccer and rugby, and playing the piano. I pretty much love everything outside and enjoy all things musical. Although I had made plans to attend law school, I have felt a tremendous calling from God to go into the mission field. The trip to Hungary will be my very first time outside of the country, and my first major mission. I am extremely excited and can not wait to see what God has planned for all of the members of the team. I pray that He continues to strengthen me and prepare me for what he has in store.
